I know I neglected DA but damn. I haven't written a journal entry since January. I really gotta start using DA more, especially given how much I hate other social media platforms lol.

It's just been a... long/short/mentally exhausting year. My brain doesn't work well anymore. You've heard it all before. The migraines, man. The migraines. They're not as bad but... they're just... unending now.

See this? This is me. When the doc says "Tell me your pain on a 0 to 10 pain scale", it's like... doc... I don't have '0'. Zero left for cigarettes. So long term focusing? It just... it doesn't happen. I get these short bursts of energy where I can fight through it, with long recovery times of "FML".

So I try. I don't get a lot done... but I try. I'm so freaking far behind everything I ever want to do but... I try. And I wander. Another side effect of the pain and lack of focus is the wandering. Again, you've heard this all before so I'll spare you.

Maaannn my art room is a disaster... I can't keep this place clean...

Throwing this out there just out of curiosity. I have a Brother PE770 Embroidery Machine, that has sat in storage for about 3-4 years now. I know it has an issue, but I can not remember what it was or how severe. I believe it's either with the arm, or with the needle misalignment. I know it was something that I couldn't repair myself, and, being up north, I had no ability to take the machine anywhere to get it repaired, so I just replaced it when I upgraded to my current Pfaff.

My question is to my fellow plush makers... does anyone want it for a repair/parts unit? I'd had to see it tossed if it's something simple that someone with a lot more knowledge than me (or access to a repair shop) can get it repaired on the cheap. I can get actual photos of the unit posted up in a day or so instead of this stock photo when I'm not so tired lol. It still has it's hoop and I can find it's extra bobbins, needles, and even a few rolls of special Brother brand bobbin thread I brought just for this machine.

All I'm asking is that you pay for shipping to get it wherever it needs to go. I'm in Yukon, Canada, so shipping would probably be anywhere from $40-$100 CAD ($30-$80USD) to the USA/Canada. International I haven't a clue, but that would probably unfortunately be very costly so I wouldn't recommend it unless you're super serious about waiting it. If you are, please send me a note, let me know where you are and I can get a shipping quote for you to find out what shipping options/costs are to get it to you.

Again, I have to reiterate - This is a repair/parts unit. I cannot and will not make any guarantees how well it'll work. but I just thought I'd offer it up for anyone who might have better skills at me at giving it a second chance, instead of it heading to the local landfill.

I have just... not had the mental ability to do much of anything lately. Migraines and other things have just put me in a creative crater, which is why the comic has gone on an unintentional hiatus. I... don't exactly know when I'll start it back up again. I'd like to say soon, but I really can't answer that. I've had a migraine storm going on for weeks now triggered by a perfume attack that wasn't properly treated when I went to the hospital, and just never got a chance to fully break. I know, you're probably all tired as hell of hearing me blame everything on my damn migraines.

I'm just as tired of saying it. I've been seeing the doctors about it. We've been working on changing the medication. It's been a slow process, and some progress is being made, but it's really slow, and it's going to be slower still before any real change happens. I wish it was faster, I truly do. Its only in the past few weeks I've been feeling like myself, even just a little. Where I can keep myself conscious during my off days, and not a total drugged out zombie during my work days. I want my life back, so damn much do I want my life back. The migraines are so bad where I have to wear my special yellow glasses at all times. You know how much it sucks, looking through yellow all the time? Having everything permanently color skewed? Need to get my eyes checked again, worried my right eye is still deteriorating. Somedays I'm scared I'm going blind in that eye, it gets cloudy at random. Have to wait until I can get my heath insurance fixed though... that's a whole nother bottle of bullshit. Nothing like finding out your out of coverage on a $1000/month injection... but I digress...

I'm tired a lot. My head hurts a lot. I've got things to take care of. I'll get back to the comic when I'm able, but it might not be for a while. I might just doodle some things for myself for a bit so my brain can reset. I'm looking to get a new drawing tablet in the next month or so. The old iPad pro has seen better days. Poor thing can't hold a charge, even plugged in the battery just depletes too fast. So... any suggestions for a tablet? I was wanting the Wacom 24 Pro, but the etched glass is a no go for me. It'll be a migraine trigger with the rainbow glitter effect it gives off. :\ ...which is a concern I have with most screen tablets now... are there any that don't have etched glass but aren't piss ass resolutions? I'm not picky about company or price at this point. I just need something a lot bigger than what I have.

Anyways, time for me to get off the screen, heads not happy again.

Has anyone else been getting a ton more spam notes since Eclipse has gone permanent? I never got notes before. Not I'm getting notes from spam accounts daily. WTF DA.
